CoEquity's Coaching and Consulting spaces

Require courage.

They invite vulnerability, &

They hold the possibility for profound transformation.

Starting a "DEI" journey centered on racial equity can be intimidating. As leaders, we are often asked to be knowers and are not given the space to make mistakes, ask questions, learn, and grow. Luckily, CoEquity offers personalized accountability services for individuals and groups (organizations & businesses) to deepen your racial equity knowledge, develop inclusive leadership skills, and support institutional change.

We promise to intentionally create space for informal conversations that proactively address equity, inclusion, and belonging not as single issues but as central to your work, taking into account both your organization’s and our nation’s history.

Collaborators are invited to be brave even in uncomfortable situations or conversations. I invite you to stand in your courage and embrace the messiness that is equity work. That's what being brave is all about. It's still showing up even when you know you don't have all the answers. It's trying to make the most equitable, most harm-reductive decisions; even when you know, you will stumble and fall from time to time.

01. Collaborator

As your Collaborator, CoEquity will be your confidant, offering basic ideas, techniques, and guidance as you begin your ARII journey.

Ideal for leaders/individuals just starting out on their DEIJ journey. You may be a member of a DEIJ team and looking for advice and guidance from an expert on how to get started & solve challenges.

02. Co-Pilot

As your Co-Pilot, CoEquity will be your sounding board as you navigate the complexities of creating, implementing, and managing equity initiatives in your organization. This is an advisory role; think office-bestie energy.

Ideal for individuals implementing DEIJ initiatives and directly handling employee & org matters independently but interested in having someone to bounce ideas off of.

03. Co-Conspirator

Co-Conspirators always have skin in the game. As your Co-Conspirtator, I extend your organization's capacity to implement an ARII process holistically. This tier offers hands-on support in building ARII alignment and strategy management & implementation.

Ideal for DEIJ champions looking to have their internal processes developed, implemented, and maintained with consistent expert guidance.

Don’t just take our word for it,

“One of the most daunting tasks in looking at advancing the dial in organizational racial equity lies in choosing the right partners to assist you in your journey. Chief amongst those characteristics one should seek out are competency, honesty, integrity, and candor. In short, someone telling us not necessarily what we want to hear, but truthfully and unambiguously articulating what we need to hear in order to advance and achieve our targeted goals. Meshayla Cox is one such individual.

Meshayla has a demonstrated track-record of providing foundational knowledge alongside practical application frameworks for the newly initiated and most savvy clientele. She has a knack for making the most difficult subject matter accessible. I have personally witnessed her engage in multi-tiered conversations with the directed end of offering sustainable solutions to individuals and organizations where questions of justice, diversity, inclusion and equity hold center stage.”
